Amy Mehary, CP/LP, FAAOP
Amy was born and raised in Dallas, Texas. Amy graduated from Northwestern University's Prosthetic and Orthotic Center in 1998 and completed her Residency at The University of Texas health Science Center -San Antonio.
In 2002 she returned to Dallas with her husband Chris to start a family and this practice. Amy's son Joseph was born in October 2002, daughter Ivie in December 2005 and M-Power was born January 2nd of 2006!
Amy has been described as a 'volunteer and service junkie'. While very active in her community, Amy is also active in both national and state professional organizations.
Amy is Licensed by the Texas Board of Orthotics and Prosthetics and is a member of the American Academy of Orthotists and Prosthetists, serving as a committee member on the Lower Limb Prosthetic Society and achieving their highest designation: Fellow in 2007.
Amy also maintains membership in The American Orthotic and Prosthetic Association. She has been active on the State level as well with a long association with the TAOP, and her years of leadership have culminated in her being honored with the Presidency for years 2010-2012.
Chad Wallace, LPOA/RPOA
Chad began his O&P career when he was just 17 years old. Now, more years than we will say out loud, Chad is an integral part of the superior care M-Power clients receive.
Amy and Chad have a long work history together as Chad was the first employee hired by M-Power in 2006. Licensed and Registered as an Orthotic and Prosthetic Assistant by both The Texas Board of Orthotics and Prosthetics and the American Board for Certification (ABC), Chad's attention to detail, quality craftsmanship and personal service are unparalleled.
Pam Byers, LO/BOCO
After 29 years of O&P service at a Dallas-area practice, Pam joined M-Power in 2008. Pam enjoys a distinguished and well respected reputation as a clinician and is well versed in all levels of orthotic care…From AFO's to CTLOS- from BOB's to KAFO's, upper extremity, lower extremity, cervical, thoracic and spinal - Pam is experienced in all aspects of care.
Pam is a renowned lower limb specialist and has achieved amazing outcomes in her treatment of foot and ankle modalities.
Linda Osborne: Office Manager
Linda has been an invaluable asset to M-Power. Assisting Amy in the planning stages of the practice and ensuring all components for a warm, inviting and efficient practice were in place.
Linda has 17 years of O&P office management experience and serves as our billing and appeals specialist. If there is ever a problem you feel is not being addressed appropriately by M-Power staff, do not hesitate to bring it to Linda's attention, she is the REAL authority at M-Power….she is Amy's mother!
Cynthia Wood: Patient Care Coordinator
Cynthia joined the M-Power team in 2006 and brings 15 years medical office expertise to the practice. She is the friendly voice on the phone when you call and can assist you in navigating the insurance maze and benefit authorization, schedule an appointment or answer most general inquiries.
Chris Mehary: Market Coordinator
Chris joined the family business in 2007. Chris' 12 years of medical device experience lends itself well to our growing practice.
Chris serves as the liaison between our clinical staff and Rehabilitation Team specialists, ensuring open communication among all invested parties gives each M-Power client every opportunity to “Empower themselves and Find their independence! “
Chad DeAtley: Technician
Chad is the newest member of the M-Power team joining us in early 2009. Chad works very closely with Chad Wallace in our Technical Service Center to ensure our fabrication processes; turnaround times and quality exceed expectations. He takes great pride in his work and is committed to the highest standards.
